Kasey And the Magic Bone
"Hey, JD....you want to go bone-hunting with me?" asked Kasey
"No...we won't find anything. Now do you want your site to be better or what?" replied JD. Kasey got the grumps. Well, who needs that girl. I'll go find the bones by myself... but first I need to figure out WHERE to start...
"Here we go!" exclaimed Kasey to herself. She had found in the woods an old ruin-like place. There was sure to be bones in there. Kasey went inside the ruin. It was very dark, but Kasey stumbled over a torch and a match box. Well, what are the chances of that? She lit the torch and looked around. All of a sudden, the passage way out got blocked by some dark force.
"Kasey. Kasey are you there?!" shouted JD. Jd had been looking for Kasey for hours and it was almost 11:00 PM. "Kasey....you were......you were a ding dong. You better find your way back. and once you do, you're going to be in BIG trouble."
It had been a day now. Kasey was getting pretty hungry. "I'll go find some food. I wonder what kind there is...hopfully there is something to eat here..." Hey! Cool, another passage way! As Kasey made her way to it, something dropped on her head. Kasey blacked out for a few seconds then everything came back to her. She wsn't very happy with that thing that dropped on her head. "I'll go look for it...I'll take the scent off of my head and smell it" said Kasey. So she smelled and smelled. Finally, she found what she was looking for.
"WOW!" cried Kasey. The thing....it wasa bone! But Kasey knew it wasn't any bone. It just had the right....feeling. "Ah" she though. She knew the had read about this magic bone to be lying on a ruin. Did she really find the magic bone? Or just a cowinkadink? As she kept on thinking, she remembered the page about the magic bone.
The Magic Bone of Sirius
There is a myth about a magic bone that the great dog Sirius onced owned. It had many powers, but it had lost it's power over time. Now, it can grant you any kind of wish, but only a number every day.
This magic bone...it had to be it! But just incase, Kasey would wish a wish. a wish. Right when she said the words, "I wish...." the room filled with smoke and the form of Sirius came to view.
"Hello dear Kasey" Sirius said.
"How do you know my name?" asked Kasey. Now she was sure this was the bone.
"I know all. I've also came to tell you something about the bone"
Kasey nodded.
"That bone was once great. But know it can only grant one wish. So if you are going to wish, you need to be wise about it."
"Thank you, Sirius. I wish...that I was out of this place. For good. That I was on JD bed once again."
"Wish granted, Kasey. I will see you again."
Kasey woke up. "Was that a dream? I think t was...but wait! What's that over there" said Kasey. She walked over to a note on the floor. It looked more like a scroll. She opened it. In old-looking handwriting the note said,
Hello dear Kasey.
I know you are reading this, because when you made the wish, I also made your mind look for a note. But now that you are out of the ruin, it got destroyed. The magic bone turned to dust, and so did everything else. This is not your fault. But now I have nowhere else to rest, I will have to travel some place else.
